Can do attitude

Ok, being as I'm not sure doesn't matter amyway I am trying to figure out if was October 21,1972 or October 22, 1971, I know I devised a fail proof plan, but that assumed that I wouldn't forget the year. Anyway, I am doing a overhaul on this journal, and will now be writtingthe top ten things that I can do now that I couldn't do before. because I have made progress just not the milestones I was looking for,but like watching your kids or grow or a pregnant belly, you don't usually notice day to day change, but overall it ends up being significant.

1) can stand unaided
2) can ballance on one leg
3) can change a lightbulb
4) can vaccum
5) can slide down a slide
6) can walk in a circle in either direction
7) can play twinkle, twinkle little star on the piano, two-handed, without music
8) can speak without it being falscetto
9) can exhaleon my breathing machine a steady stream to the solid line
10) can sing "Happy birthday" without getting winded or off-key.

p.s. now i just need to find the g and r for my attitude to become grattitude.

Wednesday October 3, 2012

1) Autumn 2) Mothers 3) inspiration 4) free time 5) Christmas 6) A working Wii 7) I ought to mention my own mother not just gerneral mothers 8) sleep 9) General conference 10) scriptures I just had another thing come to my mind, but I already wrote ten things, so I'll expound here. I just love that we are almost inundated with inormation on how to do things, but we still get to choose which things will permiate our conscienceness. In a lesson on Sunday, someone mentioned all of the tools that we have to assist families. I instanty thought about mymother speaking similarly about the toys that we as mnothers have today and made a paralell. though I ever finished it because we do have awesome toys, but they need batteries and such, I need to think more about what that might be like in regards to all of the helpmeets we have like online, magazines, etc. It seems too easy, if we want to know we can easily! I mrntioned that I love conference. I want to say bit more n that. Lately, I have been thinking alt about the purpose of the Sabath day. My immature take and subsequent reason I did the right thing was that I needed tha day to sort of "regarge" my spiritual batteries. I loved to go hear talks and be surrounded by people who liked and did the right thing. It was just a day to g to curch and feel good, but now I realize that I can get that anyday. (especially living here in Utah) and so that commeradery is not the reason for the sabbath. So, i thouht about Conference and how I like it mostly to be spiritualy fed, but it does two other things 1) break the monotinity and 2) makes me miss and realize the significance of the sacrament. I conclude that those are things that a proper Sabbath day observance does, or should.

April 23, 2012

I just must express the gratitude that I have for my life, a list doesn't seem equal to the way I feel. I am in the exact right place, and I have all of my children with me. life is so good, it almost makes me forget all that I lack and all I endure is no different that anyony else who pays rent. If i get to be blessed to rest so in heaven, it is worth the shallow cost. It is important that I figured out that even hollywood's version of love isn't the cure to so many troubles as they try to persuade you, and magazines and other ads are quite good at fooling even the wise among us, but I tell you, I do ot look or feel beautiful and never found a "soulmate" but am at the height of happiness ever I have experienced. besides Spencer W. Kimball said, " "Soul mates” are fiction and an illusion; and... ...with all diligence and prayerfulness to find a mate with whom life can be most compatible..." in a talk he gave in 1977 on marriage.

April 9th, 2012

I have to remind myself that I am actually thankful sometimes, or I want to collapse or cease, but like I was thinkg about the early pioneers as I was reviewing for the lesson in FHE, there really isn't a way to give up, you sort of had to be committed to the purpose. I am more grateful for some things than others.

1) Olive branches especially in the form of communications with other people who know and think in words that I can understand, or even try.
2) Mary Anne's extreme good nature and patience!
3) Joe's ability to forget, and hold no grudge
